First Diagnostic™ cardiac 3-in-1 combo rapid test kit box

Cardiac marker rapid tests for emergency and laboratory settings

First Diagnostic™ Corporation supplies cardiac marker rapid tests under the ATFirst™ brand for professional in vitro diagnostic use. The range covers cardiac troponin I (cTnI), myoglobin, a combo for myoglobin, CK-MB and troponin I, and a C-reactive protein (CRP) test.

Qualitative lateral flow tests for these markers are used in emergency departments, clinics and hospital laboratories as a supplement to ECG and laboratory testing. Each result is an aid to diagnosis and must be interpreted by a clinician with other clinical and laboratory findings.

Cardiac markers support ECG and laboratory troponin

A rapid qualitative cardiac marker test supports, and never replaces, ECG and laboratory troponin testing under local chest-pain protocols. A negative rapid result does not exclude myocardial injury, and no treatment or discharge decision should rest on it alone.

Myoglobin is not specific to heart muscle, and CRP is a general marker of inflammation rather than a cardiac marker. Read every test according to its insert and confirm the detection levels there before use.
