ATFirst™ lateral flow tests for hepatitis B, hepatitis C and HIV markers in blood specimens, for professional use outside the United States.
First Diagnostic™ Corporation supplies hepatitis and HIV rapid tests under the ATFirst™ brand for professional in vitro diagnostic use. The range has single tests for HBsAg, HCV antibodies and HIV antibodies, a three-line combo and a five-marker hepatitis B panel.
These lateral flow tests are used in hospital and district laboratories, antenatal and primary care clinics, and outreach programs. Each result is an aid to diagnosis and must be interpreted by a clinician with other clinical and laboratory findings.

The HBsAg test detects a viral antigen. The HCV and HIV tests detect antibodies, which take time to develop after infection, so a negative result does not exclude a recent infection. A reactive HCV antibody result does not show by itself whether the infection is current.
A definitive diagnosis should not rest on a single test. Reactive results should be confirmed according to the national testing algorithm, and false results remain possible with any rapid test.
Each kit includes its instructions for use. Inserts for the HBsAg, HCV and combo tests can be downloaded from the product inserts page; request the others from sales@firstdiagnostic.com.
The insert for ATFirst™ HBsAg prints the CE mark. For the other four products, regulatory documentation is available on request.
